Steel Entry Gate

The idea of combining natural and industrial elements into the project were it's inspiration.  After fabrication the steel on this gate was allowed to patina (rust) to just the perfect tone before it was clear coated to stop the oxidation process.  Shou-sugi-ban (Japanese woodburning technique) was used to enhance the wood's grain pattern creating a stunning balance between hard and soft materials and a very distinctive look.
